Alia Dawood is an architect based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Her work focuses on the interdisciplinary relationship between art, design and architecture.

Dawood is a graduate of Architecture from Central Saint Martins (BA Hons), and the University of Cambridge (MPhil). Prior to her research degree at Cambridge University, Dawood practiced at Hopkins Architects, Sou Fujimoto Architects in Tokyo and assisted in teaching architectural design units at Westminster University in London. In 2011 Dawood completed her post-graduate Drawing Year from the Royal Drawing School in London, her work is represented in private collections that include those of HRH Prince of Wales and Baron Cavendish of Furness.

Dawood is also a co-founder of Opensource Architecture, a non-profit platform based in Dubai aimed at creating programmes for like-minded design professionals to collaborate on goodwill projects by contributing skills, research, design services, knowledge and expertise.
